I have a fairly solid grasp of real estate investment and follow sites like Bigger Pockets and Michael Zuber since I enjoy the discussion and on occasion learn something new.

She could grasp the strategy but she couldn't get pass the carrying debt aspect of it.

Once you have a firm grasp of each component of the business, you can train others to do those functions or you'll be in a better position to vet good teammates. 

I hope this doesn't come out as a poor me story but I am just trying to get a grasp on realtor mentalities there.

Going forward I would still like to talk to an CPA prior but I think I have a better grasp of the accounting side of real estate than the legal side.

., while it's pretty important to grasp what you can expect in rent...this might be a situation where it's better to take a step back and figure out why you can't find any other rentals in the area.
