Just reaching out to all the more experienced landlords out there- One of my Detroit tenants has submitted a complaint of bed bug infestation in all her furniture.In your opinion,- is this the owners responsibility.

Other services we paid for were yard maintenance, quarterly pest control and of course any maintenance issues. 

Hopefully I am posting this in the right area.I am looking for an a pest control/exterminator in the Chicago area.  

I'm not super handy and would rather not have to deal with major overhauls like mold or termite infestation but I'm comfortable with painting, flooring, re-doing kitchen/bathroom etc.I'd plan on buy/holding this primary residence, but once enough capital is built up I'd be more interested in fix/flips. 

I do not have a sheet but I typically budget $150 for lawn, $150 for pool if applicable, $100 for cable, $100 for water, $300 a month for electric (depending on property size and your local utility costs), $50 for pest control, and another $200 per month in misc. 

Wouldn't it have more likely been the pest control guys?

Truth is, when unfortunate events happen, in most cases it wouldn't matter if you were standing right there. 9 times out of ten , you will have to call someone, plumber roofer, pest control, and such.

We are having pest control come out to take a look into this.

I personally have a general handyman, my Lawncare company, pest control, and some companies that are specialists such as roofer, Electrican and plumber. 

One of which is a rodent issue; to remediate this we have hired a pest control company to do a full service inspection and trapping job for several weeks, but we are still having issues.
