I'm not super handy and would rather not have to deal with major overhauls like mold or termite infestation but I'm comfortable with painting, flooring, re-doing kitchen/bathroom etc.I'd plan on buy/holding this primary residence, but once enough capital is built up I'd be more interested in fix/flips.

I do not have a sheet but I typically budget $150 for lawn, $150 for pool if applicable, $100 for cable, $100 for water, $300 a month for electric (depending on property size and your local utility costs), $50 for pest control, and another $200 per month in misc.

Truth is, when unfortunate events happen, in most cases it wouldn't matter if you were standing right there. 9 times out of ten , you will have to call someone, plumber roofer, pest control, and such.

One of which is a rodent issue; to remediate this we have hired a pest control company to do a full service inspection and trapping job for several weeks, but we are still having issues.
