Now there are devices that can measure noise volume but if it is both units not sure how you decide which one is making the noise. 

The right questions revolve around people and process: What's the staff-to-unit ratio? 

If they were allowed to provide a range of value, that would be more realistic, and perhaps could make the process easier. 

I also make sure that it cites where it got the information and I verify what numbers it used in its calculations.Even though I know where it is getting most of its information, because I'm the one that gave it to it after verifying the sources, I still take what it gives me with a grain of salt.
