For linens, you want a 70/30 or so cotton/poly blend. 100% cotton is nice but it is harder to get stains out of and wrinkles badly.

Why not just paint or stain the door - easy, cheap, looks good I would find it hard to believe a door would significantly increase ROI - unless it is a high end flip.
