I really think there are some amazing areas there around the city that have good price to rent ratios and huge upside for icing on the cake (appreciation).Keep us posted on deals you have in the area.

On investigation, I  found a mass of ice the width of the kitchen wall, and about 18 inches thick at the second floor level where the water had fed it for quite some time.

I am into return on investment, forgoing some positive cash flow for the appreciation piece that in many areas is icing on the cake, but in Austin, the way the economy is set up here, has shown 40 years of consistent appreciation and I don't see that changing.
