If I go to any real estate conference now it seems that a lot of people know me, but outside of the real estate circle I can go on with my life in complete anonymity.

I'm involved in my community (mentorship) and attend professional conferences for minorities once a year.

Ask anyone in Detroit and they will confer there is literally at a bare minimum, one rehab in progress on every street of every block in Detroit.
