Ask me how I know this....2) the hardware at ikea for cabinets (drawer pulls, etc) is not the best, and needs some patience and tweaking, but can give you a really, really cool look for a lot less than custom.  3) if and when someone tears through the outer laminate (plastic) layer on them, water will destroy them in no time (think under-sink leak)

It took Leo two hours to put together each bed- and that is not taking into consideration the time it took him to measure, design, and make multiple trips to the hardware store.

That put it on his head (and wallet) to buy the tenant out of their lease.

Have had pretty good luck calling local paint stores, plumbing supply shops, hardware stores, etc.  

New cabinet hardware.  

But once at that first business activity, then any trips to the bank, hardware store, post office other job sites, are deductible soyou can be creative.  

It only takes about an hour a day and keeps the money where it belongs - my wallet.  

Remember to take your wallet and heart out of the repair process, let good vendors tell you what needs to be done, and not nitpick over what should be repaired or not.When it comes to listings, you can hire any real estate agent you would like, or do it yourself, but it's really time consuming.
