I guess I'll head to Opryland and find a sports bar instead.  

There are certain things you can get values from his sphere right away without needing to pay and you can judge it yourself whether you want the "upgrade."

There are people like this in every sphere - overzealous guitar learners want to buy expensive amps and pedals to "sound better" rather than practice scales, people buying their first power tool can't "just get the drill" and so on. 

Our metro is unusually large, has two professional sports teams, and is also benefited by an eclectic variety of industry.To add to that, the affordability is extremely attractive.

On the flip side, most things that bring people into the city have been cancelled indefinitely (sports, conventions, school, etc).

Social media can also be super helpful, general posts to your sphere or joining local community groups. 

I hope the lending market remains strong and that concern is unfounded, but someone in that sphere would likely be better able to speak to what they are seeing and expecting.

And finally, since I’m a car guy - to be able to own sports cars comfortably.

I had airport cars in Portland for years.. and those were used cars.. 3rd cars that were sport cars for occasional use that sort of thing..  

(I never got to play sports) Your "growing up" will happen like drinking water from a fire hose.
