I used about everything that was suggested on the internet: Vinegar, Peroxide, baking soda, bleach, combination of peroxide and baking soda, mouth wash.

Put a small refrigerator with some soda/beer etc.   

I prefer Lowes because I've some enough business with them that I never pay retail on anything; including personal purchases now for my own home.Build a relationship with someone at one of these stores, bring them a gift card or a soda every once in awhile.

A 10 oz soda spill made on a wood or tile floor is a simple wipe up but permanent damage to carpet and pad.

My employees can't accept monetary or gift card tips, but they can accept lunch or sodas.
