I am pretty handy and I really enjoy it, so it was tempting to do a lot myself, but you quickly find out that you can only do low-quality tasks such as junk removal, demo, painting, ob clean up. 

.), the next best thing is to choose a place you genuinely enjoy visiting—ideally one you’ve been to several times and would happily return to.

Enjoy your youth and soak in all the freedom that comes with having less responsibility than you will in the future.

From a purely financial efficiency standpoint, 30-year loans do result in significantly more interest paid over time compared to 15- or 20-year loans.

I also have a background in hospitality and enjoy design and exceptional experiences, so I may be interested in STR's as well.

But from a purely investment-focused lens — especially for military families who move often — keeping your capital flexible and working harder may set you up better long term.Hope that gives some food for thought.
