On a related note, I went to the $197 3-day session from Than Merrill last year, and though the upsell was annoying, I thought there was a lot of value.

But if I hire someone to do some work, I feel they will just annoyed if I ask to help and watch them work.

I am curious though how successful the people that use these automated services are at getting good deals or are the services themselves the only ones really profiting from this annoyance.

Often silver-tonged devils, amazing pitch-men, but one will find a giant gaping void where passion for the "deal" should be, because it's not there passion, that's more a necessary annoyance for them than anything else because focus is controlling the $ that's it that's all.
