Are you good at holding the line and holding other adults accountable? 

I've rented 3 bedroom properties to single people with no kids, a couple, a parent and a kid or a family with 2 adults and a couple of kids.

Someone lighting a fire under your butt or dangling a carrot shouldn't motivate a human adult.

I'm all for college eduation, contrary to the crowds, I believe the experience prepares you for adulting.

I was thinking, I gave them the spiel, told them it is $40 per adult or married couple to run the check, and left it at that.

BTW family (adults with small children 3-2-2s) rentals don't do well on busy streets.

Large dogs and 4 adults are harder on a property.  

They're adults, if they don't like doing it, they could opt out of representing you.But keep this in mind.

In our area student rentals mixed with what I would call adult rentals make the market rent a little hard to nail down if you don't know the area and these two different rental groups.
