You have to pay the price, take some risk and even if you are extremely succesful... you will have some battle scars.

There seems to be a “battle” between wholesalers and realtors which seems to be unnecessary.

You're fighting an uphill battle that is not in your longterm bests interests.  

Some wholesalers put very clear language about their intentions in their contract with the seller so the seller does not back out at the last minute when they realize the wholesaler is only an intermediary, or to protect themselves from a legal battle against a seller who thinks they have been taken advantage of.
