It's almost one year old but it's a good place to start your research.Regarding how to secure funding.  1st thing you need to do is set up a legal agreement among your friends, laying out the nature of the relationship along with how many $ each person will put up & if one, a couple, or all will be responsible for any loans.  

Meaning, that in Zillow or all other similar sites the sold price will say $130K?

If you're an accredited investor, you could invest part or all of your 100k in private placements.  

For me I had to be all in or all out in my faith/ repentance commitment.

You can't cashflow a 4-5 cap multifamily unless you own most or all of it.

If you pull all of your money back out, you invite back some or all of that risk.No one starts in this business planning to get foreclosed on, but it still happens. 

Also, housing allowance is paying most or all of your mortgage right now I assume. 

Curious to know, if there were specific books (like 10 X rule) that articulated the kind of mindset needed to achieve his or her goals, or if it was developed from consistent routine setting/actions, or from overcoming adversity, or all of them?
