Specifically, due to the pressure from city, state and local associations, the VR model is and has been under attack.

A few key differences between NCGS 42 and NCGS 42A:  - Vacation rental agreements must be in writing, but "regular" leases do not - Expedited evictions follow different processes for VR (Article 4) and "regular" leases (Article 7)The idea of a "self-help" eviction (turning off utilities, removing the front door, for example) is contrary to public policy but 42-25.6 but no longer (since 2012-2013 legislative changes) appears to trigger a criminal offense in NCGS 42. 

Do you hire VR's, if so how much do you pay them?

To keep the experience budget friendly, it must be affordable for both me and the guest.We love the VR industry, but I don't think it is for everyone nor is it always as lucrative as people imagine.

I'm in IT so creating my own WordPress site for my VR was more of a 'fun weekend project' but I did it also to provide additional details and insights to the property the others may not have or allow me to list.  

There is so much for Wordpress for VR management that it would take up a small book. :)

I am using Turnkey VR to manage today but looking for other options.
