I was hoping to create a team who will be taking care of real estate business while my role will be more of funding and managing from far.

As a Cleveland Property manager, I can say, it's the toughest role in the RE industry.

Since you and your team are bringing the deals, running the numbers, handling construction, and basically doing all the heavy lifting, your role has real value beyond just money.

Currently, I’m sharpening my skills, applying for Capital Markets and Debt & Equity Placement Analyst roles, and considering pursuing a Master’s in Real Estate Development.

Also, these roles are typically commission only with no base pay or salary. 

For instance, South Carolina recently passed some new legislation that makes it important to be transparent about your role as a wholesaler to avoid issues.Networking is crucial.

I primarily operate in the Business category as a property manager and realtor, working directly with investors and handling the day-to-day operations that support their portfolios.I’ve found that being in both roles gives valuable perspective—you understand not just how deals pencil out, but how they actually perform over time.
