Both situations were big lessons learned and at this point the butterflies are out the window.

Turns out there's just some butterflies in there!

By no means am I saying we don't have things happen here and that it is all Rainbows and Butterflies. 

I've watched, read, podcasted, and dreamed REI for years and am becoming familiar with much of it in theory -and in a previous life I spent several years working in the trades building spec to Street of Dreams homes in and around PDX- but as I prepare to finally take action I'm feeling the doubt, exposure, and butterflies more then I expected...

Maybe you haven't Purchased yet and are waiting for the butterflies to leave you stomach so you can finally buckle down and start using those Bigger Pockets Calculators and punch in some of those zillow listings you've been eyeing to see if they're worth it (currently my position lol) Im a new forum poster and also bright eyed and bushy tailed in the world of real estate, looking to hopefully gain some real world insight to couple with all the technical aspects of real estate investing!

I'm not going to sit here and tell you it was all rainbows and butterflies. 

I was so so nervous, butterflies in my tummy as well.

You don't want to buy the land and find out there is one Blue Butterfly on your property that is the last one of an endangered species, or the property was once a dump site and your are your new house will be resting on top of a ticking methane gas bomb.

Butterflies in the stomach is real.

I am not a social butterfly but my partner is better at socializing, networking and asking questions.
