First I assume when you say apartment you mean an attached single family home (i.e. condominium or townhome).

Some DA looking to make a name will think "Huh, this has good PR value" and will launch a "sting".... 

All the sudden you launch a domino effect that takes the whole economy down.Would the free market worked it out without a rescue plan? 

I personally don't purchase condominium since you can not control your cash flow due to the condo fee.
