I am a life long fitness enthusiast and competitive athlete having competed nationally in Wrestling and Rugby, locally in dozens of other sports. 

I have bigger aspirations for myself than my parents do and they want me to choose a safe route that will assure I can pay $500/month for my student loans (I had a pretty good athletic scholarship in college)I am turning to the forums for advice.

However, I do know that eventually my time as a professional athlete will come to an end and I will need to move on to something else.

If so, there are 3 big things in Houston to look for (1) Floodplain/did it flood during Harvey, (2) School District, (3) Football/athletic program at the high school they are zoned too.

I am an athlete.

We can all do more, but just like athletes, running as a group speeds up the pace, rather than running alone.

Those things are my loved ones, adventure,  and experience.As a lifelong athlete, I love and thrive in a competitive environment.

There are many situations, for example, pro athletes who suddenly make it big, don't have any cash, and want to buy a home.
