This is a great way to start and at your age will work out great for your first.  

I’ve learned with age that passive investing is the way to go.

Clearly I am an example of the anti Ramsey approach that believes debt can be good and produce great returns (leverage is a return multiplier).This does not mean that I d not believe most people should be following Dave Ramsey’s advice.

I am not privy to what occurred but I fear it may have been cash for keys.CA recently passed anti squatter laws that help some, but we also have help like the “squatter hunter” or “squatter Squad”.  

Investing in your future at such a young age is one of the most impactful things you can do for yourself.
