That said, depending on your credit and income, sometimes it’s cleaner to finance part of the purchase upfront and keep the HELOC as backup capital for unexpected rehab costs.

There may be an outlet on the DSCR side, but will likely be at 60-65 LTV with a minimum loan amount of $250k.

A few things to keep in mind: check zoning and permitting requirements early, factor in utility hookups and soil/septic feasibility, and always have a buffer for unexpected costs or delays.
