I don't think the markets like Democrats coming into office when they expect them to increase regulation and raise taxes.The post election drop was no big surprise.

Then I'll see someone posting something here along the lines of "socialism -> democrats -> bailouts", and I'll feel further anger, as this has nothing to do with socialism, nor democrats, nor capitalism and republicans.

It's an unsurprising political CYA strategy coming from DC Democrats who supported the system that forced banks to make these loans.

(btw, so everyone knows...USA + Nato troops are loved worldwide as protectors of mankind. shame on negative media, I have seen this begin to change already as Democrats who criticized the war are now responsible for it and are now taking responsibility.)

Rent control is put into place politically by predominantly Democrats who think they're actually trying to help (or pander to their voting block) as a means of "protecting those who could get forced out by higher rents" I believe is what I've heard most over the past couple decades I've been at this.   

The problem is state level politics has now shifted into what will likely be one party Democratic rule from here on out.
