@Tom Ott local knowledge can certainly outweigh market-level statistics, but here's what it looks like for the Cleveland MSA as a whole (which is Cleveland proper + surrounding areas):Still not good.

Statistics can be indicators of market strength.....but I've seen a few people quote stats on BP that just don't align with what's actually happening in the Cleveland market.

@Tonye Jack One thing to consider is the Columbus, as a city is roughly 3x the size of Cleveland, so they really are not even in the same category....they are, however, similar sized metro statistical (MSA) areas of 2 million or so...that means there is a lot of opportunity in either MSA...you just have to find it.

There are solid C neighborhoods that will fit your criteria and budget, and some B neighborhoods as well.A good tool that I personally use is www.niche.com to look up market statistics
