Hey guys, wondering what the locals think will be the impact of this from, here is the article from IBJ:September 6, 2016Hayleigh ColomboCarmel-based for-profit college operator ITT Educational Services Inc. announced Tuesday morning that it will permanently “discontinue academic operations” at all ITT Technical Institutes campuses. The company has already eliminated the “vast majority” of its 8,000 employees and canceled the fall academic quarter, which had been scheduled to begin this month, according to a statement released Tuesday morning.ITT Educational operates more than 130 ITT Technical Institute campuses in 38 states.ITT Tech announced a week ago it would stop enrolling students, and an Indianapolis charter school run by the companyhas also shut down. The move follows years of scrutiny by the federal education department over its recruiting methods and students’ educational performance, and recent actions that made itineligible to accept new studentswho relied on student loans. In its statement Tuesday morning, ITT called the federal sanctions “inappropriate and unconstitutional.""

I will be moving likely within the next 8-12 months or so, and my wife and I are planning on renting out our house, so that's how I figure we will start.I've got a pretty good gig going with the AF so this will be more of a supplemental thing for me at least in the beginning so I would say I'll probably be taking a more passive role to start, although I'm open to anything.I spent the last two years as a recruiter so I've gained some valuable experience in Human Resources, advertising and marketing, cold calling, as well as general salesmanship so I think I can find a way to use those skills in this venture.

Hi Amiris,Thanks for your comment. We launched like 2 weeks ago with a half A$$ed website and ZERO marketing and already recruited 7 agents.I have had VC's throwing money at me like crazy but we are looking at bootstrapping for now until we prove the concept and maybe raise money on our terms.Looking at including all of these things in our online platform:Live support, training and “How To” video’s, various marketing templates, a CRM database management software, a DIY social media account set up, a DIY personal website set up, create own Dotloop signature tool, online continual education courses and a full blown real estate library of videos, tips, webinars, courses, etc..I'm super excited about this mate and believe it to be the new revolution of real estate brokerages Thanks again
