You want your attic to pull fresh air from outside (low part of roof) and vent out along the top (either gable vents, or ridge vents or 'turtle' vents).  

(Maybe it's all the California sunshine and fresh air that enables us not to grow into "crusty old contractors" and stay physically and mentally able to still work our jobs.

I'm a registered nurse a year fresh out of college and I want to buy a duplex with intent living in one and renting out the other.

I know there are a lot of Quebec investors who are investing in Florida presicely because deals are easier to find there, at least from a cashflow perspective.

But my question now is whether we should circle back and raise the asking price.We've already posted online ads, had lots of people spend time to come out and look at the space, and there's something that feels deceptive about looping back and telling them we want more money (or posting a new add).At the same time, I feel like we should be looking at this from a perspective as a business owner, and we are really leaving money on the table from a financial perspective.Has anyone else ever experienced this?

I have planned to go to a real estate meeting in a city near me but i was wondering if other people could give me their perspective on how to try and find/reach out to people who have been influential in this area.

Find a good commercial realtor that can approach it from an investors perspective.

From my perspective, it represents a much more hurricane safe alternative to the skyrocketing values seen in many parts of the New Jersey Shore (near NYC).

The giver's perspective may have been once valid, for their zips, deal type, price range and most importantly for their period of time.
