Through a number of books and podcasts, I became convinced that buy and hold real estate is the best way to go for my financial freedom goals and I have been trying to learn as much as possible over the last 3 months. 

Oh, that last one is called "air conditioning" which nobody saw coming back in the 30's and 40's.

Silicone valley obviously increased a lot already in last 5 years, and it should be one of the most expensive city in among the US.

Sometimes I think it’s becuase people are eating elsewhere (even another close subway.) sometimes the whole mall is empty except that last coupe, hold outs. 

Last week I closed on a two family house that I purchased directly from the owner, she gave me a good deal with the condition that she would stay in the first floor apartment and pay a reduce rent.  

Over the last month or so, I took the required 90-hour broker pre-licensing course online, passing the course and also the Indiana state exam just last week.My plan is to never quit my W2 job, as I have a good, steady income, insurance, 401k, profit sharing, etc.

Yeah, real estate in Crystal has gone way up the last few years!
