It is however mandatory that you hire a GC to oversee the work since that is the individual you will be in contact with every day to discuss the progress you inspect daily when you get home..If you have only one contractor hired to do all the work you can bypass having a GC provided you have a single contact person responsible for the entire job.

The market as a whole, how I see it anyway, is a VERY competitive space that requires speed of action to secure deals... 15,000+ agents combing the market daily and you can't swing a dead cat in a Starbucks without hitting a "flipper" or "Wholesaler" fresh out of some guru course.
