So I am looking for a single family home w/ basement suite(live in the suite, rent the main part of the house).Right now in BC the housing market is at an all time high and many people are saying it is not the time to buy.

I want to get into single family/small condo development in Dallas and or Houston.

I'm very motivated to start investing in Single Family Rentals once I move and am looking for like-minded individuals to potentially partner up with. 

Hello BP friends and colleagues,  I am on the hunt for an Architect and Engineer in Portland, Oregon, to turn a single family home into a triplex.

They want to downsize and have a single-story home but are hesitant to open a new mortgage for a new home.

@William Shea If you're interested in being a landlord, the single most important thing you can do is to study up on the WILDLY tenant-friendly laws in this state.  

I have been surrounded by rental properties my whole life - my Grandpa was a carpenter and over the last 50 years he has acquired 5 single family rental properties in addition to owning his own house.

I am very proud of my $400 M company today and our over 3 M Square Feet of Real Estate built of Apartment Buildings, Condominiums, Town Homes and Single Families rented, soldor constructing now over the past 15 years.

As of now, my goals are to own and rent out a single family or multi-family property before the end of 2018 or to wholesale a property or two before the end of 2018.

I'm currently in the process of implementing rent increases at one of my complexes and they are relatively $150 below market, so I'm doing $50 per year that will single handedly increase the property valuation by  $320k over the next 3 years ($106k yearly).
