If I was renting I would be paying that rent to a landlord that would use that money to pay off his mortgage and ideally have some cash flow for his efforts and risk.

I started a systematic screening of every company I could find on the internet, but that seems like an endless task.I'm hoping to find a company small enough that I can speak directly to the person in charge and there aren't too many fees, and large enough that they have robust software and a system for staying on top of rent increases.I looked at Shane Dreffs, but his profile didn't say anything at all, so I'm not clear why he was referenced.Have you hired a new PM yet?

Check with an attorney in the state you wish to lend in to ensure this is legal.As someone who has been on both sides of these types of transactions - that is, the designer / developer / builder / borrower / Realtor and now the lender - that's where I believe I can provide the most value.I am always open to collaborations and partherships AND learning more, so please feel free to chime in with suggestions, questions, and anything you find pertinent to share!
