I'm going against the grain here but I really wouldn't have a problem with it. 

That is true not to go with the grain all the time. 

If he said he needed free food for 6 weeks would the judge require the grocery store to stock his refrigerator at no cost to him for 4 weeks?  

Always take what the seller is saying with a grain of salt, in every transaction.  

Well not everyone has to starve from food shortages.I'd bet those with the Guns and the Dogs just drive to the edge of town for a hearty pioneer type meal.Or hit the waters for a delicious fish dinner.

and they were in your area of the upper mid west.. and the gardens not only did they not go out for fancy 8 dollar meals.. they hunted their food and grew unbelievable veggie gardens every year.. they canned they saved .. we have lost that.. not that I grow my own I don't.. well out our way you know what they grow.. :)

They figured out long ago the money is in franchising and charging royalty fees on gross sales, commissary mark ups for food, re-imaging packages to sell, advertising fees, owning the real estate and leasing it back to franchisees, etc. 

I was feeling guilty for not being able to give my girls new clothes for school etc. and before you know it I was using it for gas and food and now here I am.

He mentioned he's got kids, is he paying college tuition, alimony, food, etc.?
