I would also recommend having a mentor available to walk you through your first transaction, there will be questions that come up that can be tough to figure out if you don't have the right resources!

Meetup.com is a good resource for those but some of the groups will also post here on Bigger Pockets Marketplace too.

Picking a specific market and understanding trends from there by using local resources will be your best bet for success.

Is it a law or something why other markets publish this info on their listings but NJ does not?
