At least 4 cats have lived in the house with her at all times, and any number of feral cats come and go at will because she left lots of food out for them.

Our thoughts are that producing and managing energy efficiently and sustainably unlocks other vital progress to sustainability like desalination and hydroponic food growth.

Worse case scenario...power has been off for a month and there's food in the frig! 

This way no matter what happens you have a fallback position where you can put food on the table.
