So far I’ve read 4 books published by Bigger Pockets or their members and am gaining a lot of insight into which direction I wanna go when I finally do take that leap into investing.

I think that @Mark Pedroza provided excellent advice and a great resource for the assignment contract. 

Meetup.com is a good resource for those but some of the groups will also post here on Bigger Pockets Marketplace too.

Don't know about Sec. 8 but nolo.com is a great site for general resources and info.
