I believe this is my first post on Biggerpockets.I have been to say the least, a silent observer/reader for the previous 2 years, attending few RE conferences and reading tons of books.

There are two types of auctions that you want to attend.

Attend as many REIA meet ups as you can, research the various Philadelphia neighborhoods to see which one fits your living situation the best, and listen to the BP podcasts, they are a great resource.

I know I need to start attending for of the local REIA's in the area and start networking and call bandit signs.  

It saved me time and money from attending a school.

Do you attend meetups or are you part of any of the REI groups in the area- people tend to share deals amongst those networks? 

Have you attended the MNREIA meetings, they are a great source for information and networking.I do wholesaling but also have a tremendous amount of knowledge on mortgages.Sean
