And I believe Airbnb tracks this and has some info on their website.

You need to #1 - Find the city website and  see what their rules are. #2 - Follow up with a visit to their office to verify and ask more questions. #3 - If a particular municipality is too strict or unreasonable, just move your search to where ever you have to.

Pay $79, or whatever the cost is for propertyradar.com or similar website and the website sometimes has phone numbers, the owner's mailing address and email addresses.

I can look at Zillow or any other websites, but I don't know how much the information is worthy from an appraisal point of view.

New Smyrna Beach is a good area too - you will find a map on there county/city website of approved STR zones.
