Thanks for the replies guys, those are both great ideas especially reference the picture taking, this one property I was especially interested in has some broken windows etc the old tenants left when they moved out.

None of the houses on the street have any broken or boarded up windows or doors, so I wouldn't consider it a war zone.

Ok so here it is:The property is a 3/1..The owner is not living there...it has a fenced in bkyard, new hurricane resistant windows, new tile flooring, painted walls and he's says he is goin to put in new appliances anyways...I did my research.The house is valued at 175k but he's asking for 159k.

I've been reading various remedies.Installing box fans on one side of the house, opening the windows on the other side to blow it out.set out barbeque charcoal to absorb the odor (would have to be chemical free)seal them with Kilzwash the walls with baking soda.
