The relevant part of my lease looks like this (edited slightly for the bank and city names):All such payments shall be made to Landlord in one of two ways:a) By depositing funds into Landlord's bank account at a Foo Bank branch in Suburb or at other Foo Bank branches in the Big City area.

As far as the title company is concerned; I assume your comment was inferring that the title company only deals with title transfers etc, and since there is no transfer during the option agreement, the title company is not relevant in that part of the transaction.
