If you're considering an investment outside your region or state then use websites like www.zillow.com and www.trulia.com to find out what is for sale locally in the area where you want to do business (I am using these two sites only for example; there are several other similar sites).

After doing a little research I found the bigger pockets podcast and website and realized I really don't, there are a lot of options to get started.

ya seems to me that this all gets fixed with go to old forum button I was looking for that.. then keep this new one that the developers dreamed and like.. and see which one gets the most traffic over the course of some time then management/owners can make a decision . for now I will only post if I get mentioned or on my thread that i started since i get notices.. 

Most county websites offer a tax calculator that allows you to calculate the new tax value based on the sales price-Insurance: value seems OK, this is in the range that I use.
