I invest and work in the Pierce county (Tacoma) market and usually attend the meet up in Lakewood.

Also, ask all prospective showings to call or text you an hour before the showing to confirm attendance.

There are a few wholesalers that attend those meetings and/or are active on BP. 

My kids are 10 and 12 years old and attending Granite Mountain and Prescott Mile High schools. 

I would suggest taking in as much as possible and attending meetup groups that happen daily.

I'm not sure how detailed of information you're looking for regarding schools but a good resource at a high level is http://www.greatschools.org/school-district-boundaries-map/ It ranks schools (elementary, middle and high school) and you can see the school district boundaries to identify down to the street or address which school a particular property would attend.

I WILL attend every possible networking event and surround myself with people smarter and more successful than I. 5.

You should attend the local REIA's down here and start getting your feet wet!
