As long as each parcel meets minimum zoning requirements (size, set backs, electric/water, etc.) then it's not a terrible way to do it.

I've looked into KREIA and plan on attending the meeting this month to learn more and meet local investors.

They will require some of your money for the purchase depending on the project to make sure you are putting some skin in the game.

@Brian Comiskey I've found the best way to meet local investors is through the local meetups.

This is also the notice period for terminating a written lease for anything other than non-payment of rent (unless written lease says otherwise).If you are going to play the game (landlord-tenant), you should know the rules.
