I’m wanting to trust her market knowledge, since we are new to flipping, but I spent 2 years working with her scouring the area for a place like this and know we couldn’t have come close to what this finished product will be with our 250k budget last year.

As others have said get educated and realize, lack of knowledge and ability to perform can have serious negative affects on families.

Do you have set source you use to understand estimated rehab costs in this specific area or did you just get the knowledge from experience and calling various local contractors?

I look at situations and ask myself is this something that you have knowledge on or not. 

One thing I would recommend is to find professionals who are both knowledgeable AND who you are comfortable with.

Hello guys thought it’d be interesting to start a discussion about ************* (real estate guru) me and my sister went to a free seminar in Miami FL and signed up for a 997$ 3day real estate course from 9-6pm Starting June 7th 2019 - June 9th 2019 Me and my sis split the payment, the whole “we are a business real estate knowledge isn’t free” i mean I’ve been to many of these free seminars and they all pitch you some insane price for real estate education or training or some “elite course” farce companies like Renatus etc.. however since i admire ************* and 997$ wasn’t that much compared to what I’ve seen in the past we ended up signing up i will GLADLY update you guys to see if it was worth it or if i learned anything.
