I just purchased my first rental property and I'm not to sure what website or app would be best to collect and keep record of rent payments.

I usually offer a custom website for the buildings I buy with directory of tenants on there and try to help their visibility and business traffic to their own sites.Little things that do not cost much in the overall picture can help foster goodwill with business tenants and they like to stay when they feel landlord keeps up the place and cares. 

I used to find this information on the County Recorder's website of whatever County the property is in.

I'm looking at a property that is listed as a 2 flat; however when I went on the chicago zoning website, the zoning class is B3-1 which does not make sense since there is no retail currently.

Get a list of properties from the county tax assessor website or a company like Propstream.

@Luke Trovinger Thank you so much for your advice.I just peeked at the county website, it does seem that there is some valuable information listed publicly .There are some options when searching properties with delinquent taxes.

Most of us have our title in our bios.As for the auditor site, that is something we have through our county website.

On average every damn 30 minutes I get a call from some gadamn business trying to sell me solar panels, car warranty, skip tracing, telling me my website needs work (FOR  REAL?!)
