Investment Info:Single-family residence buy & hold investment.

It appears that Travelers (and probably many others) have decided residential policies are not allowed for multiple investment properties.We are looking at commercial insurance for our residential properties but are finding it difficult to navigate the options since residential properties really don't fit the commercial insurance model very well.What is everyone else doing with respect to residential investment property insurance?

His investment is a loan at very favorable terms compared to a bank (no personal guarantee, rate less than the banks, etc.). 

Is there a article/post/site that lists all the areas you can invest in? 

If I did the deal I would do it as you buy it and they act as bank and give you a loan with principal and interest.

@John Paul when investing in an equity deal through your LLC, it’s best to keep everything clean and traceable by using the LLC’s bank account for both the investment and receipt of profits.

That's what got you into trouble in the first place.I would also consider selling the property and investing in a market that protects your rights as a property owner.

The owner of the property is finally willing to sell to him, but he has only ever made a purchase traditionally with a bank mortgage.
