I don't think you'll be able to use the proceeds from a 1031 exchange to co-invest with other investors into your syndicated deal. 

Having our VR in Maui, everything is more expensive there, but all non-grocery items at Costco in Maui costs the exact same as they do at our local Denver Costco.  

If another series is a parcel of land in NC it is insured as such, if others a construction and management co, etc.....The policy will specify exclusions and rates for the type of business being conducted for each entity.
