Then there's always the chance that the zoning, if to be placed on private lo/parcel may prohibit homes beyond a certain age and if its going to be installed in a MHC the manage may not allow anything older than 10 years.

Many folks may need a place very soon or like now (pronto) not when the construction wraps up, so that could cause a pause.Plus, for many (unless they are HGTV fans or in the trades) they will simply see a construction zone and not a future home (even if you are almost done)....
