Well, because you live in TX, the property tax deduction on your personal return is more valuable than it is in most states. 

A lot of people think steel mills when they hear NWI but the truth of the matter is that we are not tied to any 1 specific industry.

In Portland, they allow this also IF the first floor is concrete or steel. 

And Geometry does teach problem solving skills that are valuable for everyone, including RE investors.My point is this - why not read a book or take a class that teaches problem solving skills while also teaching knowledge that the student will actually use later in life?

Can't say enough how valuable the BP community has been in my journey getting started.  

I have a business outside of RE (plus 3 kids) and so my time is valuable.
