For water issues, it depends on the type of unit and the type of water problem.For example, in SFR, there is only one tenant and that tenant is instructed by me as to the location of the main water shut-off.

I'm not sure what you mean by "normal", but if there is an item in the house that requires annual service, such as a pool or well, and the owner includes these instructions in their management agreement, we just build a schedule for this in our software.
