I don’t know about the smokies but I had a bunch of multi million dollar vacation rentals on the Outer Banks of NC and we only had about 10% dip in occupancy in summer of 2009.

Vacation rental- pause or don’t invest.

I really enjoy visiting Destin, FL and staying in a beach front Condo occasionally, and I have always wanted to own one and rent it out while I'm not present so the unit pays for itself.

Background on me is 1 multi-fam in Boston and a vacation rental on Cape Cod - both cash flow positive since inception (almost 4 yrs).

I have wanted to get into the rental game for a very long time, my parents have never invested and have always lived paycheck to paycheck but I've always enjoyed doing something more than a "job", I prefer to "conquer" instead.

I am also about to close on a medium sized property and am just enjoying the unexpected lower interest rates.  

I’m looking for someone to clean Airbnb’s after guest have vacated.
