We have been heating the apartment with the frozen with the electric wall sleeve unit that has the function to serve as a dual ac/heat unit but this is a temp solution until the weather warms and the line thaws.My question is have any of you had your boiler service company add anti freeze type solvent to your boiler units to prevent this issue?

@jim adrianalright I'll take a look at the quarter round. the dude the just helped me install the sheet laminate in the bathroom recommended plastic quarter round against the bathtub to prevent the floor from lifting, so guess that stuff is useful for all sorts of things. 

The guy came at 9 pm, installed the opener and was about to leave at 10 pm when the wife came down, cussed and yelled at him because it was outside of normal working hours, and tried to prevent him from leaving because she apparently called the police and wanted him to stay until the police arrived.

The most important thing is to make sure you get the building completely dried as quickly as possible to prevent any possible mold growth.
