I am working on learning all I can about Multi-Family property investing.  

Does anybody invest from out of state in the Houston, TX area?

I am new to Real Estate Investing.

In 2008 I did my first investment deal, and split it with a partner as a way to diversify risk and learn with less downside risk. 

If you don’t have cash for a down payment, it might be safer to explore partners or join a group investment where you can contribute a smaller amount while learning the process.Given the neighborhood concerns, also weigh tenant demand and potential resale.

Where do you invest?

The easiest way to start investing in real estate is to purchase for owner occupancy - house hack, or BRRRRS. 

For investors who are exploring options outside of the US, have you considered an investment in the UAE?

I’m hoping to get into real estate investing a couple years after graduating pending job opportunities and funding of course.
